One of my favorite spots. I come once a year - tradition - and the food is always perfect. Steve at the front bar/table has been there every year for the last 4 years and always provides the best suggestions and best service!!!! I really think the food is one of the best around.

So very good! Broth has lots of flavor, the chicken is only white meat, lots of noodles and you can ask for more if you need it! We love getting the Thai tea too. The KFC is always a good starter choice. The place has a cool young feel to it and it can get pretty loud. We look forward to going again! Team pho!

Cool vibe | Great quality | Value for money When I was visiting Connecticut, mainly in Norwalk I went to Mecha Noodle Bar on a casual Wednesday night. This area is chalk filled with tons of restaurants and bars. I was surprised to see how busy it was on a week night so I can only imagine what it would look like on a weekend. We parked in the rear of the building, paid parking. The place is unassuming from the outside but totally transformative on the inside. It's longer than it is wide, more of a galley style. The decor, tables, bar etc are all themed and are pretty vibey. I ordered the chicken ramen and it was one of the best I've had. The broth was super flavourful, you for many pieces of well cooked chicken and all of the standard ramen toppings. Upon request, they brought me hot sauce which seemed house made to me. The noodles were also a good quality. I really had no complaints. Service was quick and the portion was large. Great for a nice and quick bite if you're in a pinch!

Finally tried mecha and it was good, nothing extraordinary and memorable in my opinion. Came in on a busy Sunday evening, service was attentive, ambiance was super LOUD, hard to have a conversation. Drink was good, small and expensive. Red oil dumpling and egg roll apps were excellent. BF enjoyed his paitan ramen and as for my spicy miso ramen, it wasn't the best. Rich broth, very salty and lack the flavor of red miso, just wasn't for me. Got home and had 2 bottles of water!! Now, that's salty! Although, I have to say, noodles were fresh, bouncy, silky and delicious but I had better broth somewhere else. And chashu was flavorful and melt in your mouth tender. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again. But, glad I tried it, and something I can compare to other ramen places I love in CT.
